Santeka's Taste Test | Did it Pass?

My experience at The Swimming Pig was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, the hostess didn’t greet us, and we decided to seat ourselves at the bar. Despite there being multiple bartenders and servers behind the bar, none of them acknowledged us or took our order. The bar was also cluttered with empty glasses and plates, and the surfaces needed cleaning. A couple who sat down shortly after us were immediately attended to, which made the situation even more frustrating. My friend spoke to the hostess about the issue, and the manager came over to apologize. He comped our first round of drinks and personally took care of us until we left. While we appreciated how the manager handled the situation, it wasn’t until he intervened that the staff acknowledged us.
As for the food, it was average at best, and the only reason I would recommend this place is because it’s open 24 hours. So if you’re in need of late-night food and drinks, it might be your only option.
The Vibe:
Lively sports bar with an upscale pub atmosphere
Important Tip(s):
The manager mentioned that after the nightclub closes on Fridays and Saturdays (around 2 am), the atmosphere gets rowdy and busy. Plan accordingly.
